DataPlace is a project created by KnowledgePlex. Operating as a non-profit, KnowledgePlex, Inc. seeks to level the playing field with knowledge sharing, content management, local data, and GIS software applications to help our affiliates succeed. Our systems help partners organize and display data efficiently and cost effectively. We understand local data and metrics help our partners operate at their highest level and better tell their story.

Vision, Mission, Goals

KnowledgePlex, Inc (KPI) seeks to help transform disadvantaged communities and neighborhoods by creating, maintaining, and innovating a standard technology platform for information and data that can serve a wide variety of sectors.

Ultimately, KPI will democratize information to help level the playing field for low-income communities and neighborhoods. By providing information that will drive markets and empower communities and neighborhoods, KPI hopes to usher in a new era of accountability and impact-tracking.

KnowledgePlex.org serves as an information portal that aggregates and makes accessible information that is relevant to the affordable housing and community development audience. DataPlace.org is a data and statistical portal that effectively assembles data and ranks the data with relevance to a broad range of indicators. When these two platforms come together, there is the synergy of linking information with data and the opportunity to build a community of users that improve(s) any field’s overall effectiveness.
